Welcome to the HILUX Surf Experience – your journey to the exciting world of surfing in Sri Lanka! Our team consists of experienced Russian-speaking instructors certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA), who are ready to share their passion for surfing with you. Sri Lanka, with its amazing coastal villages of Kabala na, Ahangama and Weligama, provides ideal conditions for learning to surf.

Lum Surf School

LUX Residence is located away from noisy roads and railway tracks, surrounded by nature, which creates an ideal environment for complete relaxation in our comfortable rooms. We also have a swimming pool where you can practice the basics of board management or just relax.

Surfing School

We provide a complete package for your surf vacation, including equipment rental, photo and video reports, Russian-speaking instructors, lycra and sunscreen for your comfort, as well as theoretical and practical classes for diving into the world of surfing. All inventory is included in the cost of lessons, so you don‘t have to worry about additional costs.

How are the classes going?

Our beginner program starts with a thorough study of the theory. Classes on the shore cover the basics of safety and getting up on the board. After that, our lessons are transferred to the water, where you apply the acquired skills in practice.

Our instructor

Our instructor, Dmitry Gusev, has six years of teaching experience, ICEA/ILS certificates and guarantees that your surfing experience will not only be exciting, but also safe. We offer an individual approach, working in small groups so that everyone can master all the subtleties of this exciting sport as effectively as possible.
