Sri Lanka is a country rich in attractions, and we will be happy to help you see the diversity of this extraordinary island.
You can go on both one–day and two-day excursions – we organize excursions of different duration and with different programs and directions. Upon your request, we can arrange a trip at a comfortable pace for you with a view of the sights you are interested in. All our programs are carefully designed and thought out taking into account all the details. One of our favorite excursions is a two–day trip to the center of the island, during which you will enjoy the amazing scenery, taste the best tea in the world and meet an unforgettable sunrise in the mountains right from the terrace of your hotel. The tour starts from the small town of Ella, where we will go directly from our hotel. There we will see a nine–arch bridge – the largest in Sri Lanka. This is a huge 25–meter bridge, which is located at an altitude of 945 meters above sea level, which is why its second name is “Bridge to the Sky“. We will also climb the small Adam peak, where we will admire the endless views of the surrounding valleys and the Ella rock. The ascent is not difficult, accessible to everyone and takes about 40 minutes. If desired, you can not go down on foot in the opposite direction, but fly with the breeze on a zipline – extremely beautiful pleasure and unforgettable impressions! At the end of the day, we check into a hotel in the mountains to meet the fascinating dawn early the next morning and continue our fascinating journey through the center of the island. On this day, we will take a train ride among the mountains, take many photos from the open doors of the carriages of a moving train and find ourselves in the city of Nuwara Eliya. “Little England“ is what the inhabitants of the island call this place, because it was here that the British colonialists once settled. This is the highest mountain city in Sri Lanka, and there we can not only enjoy the scenery of the mountain hills, but also visit tea plantations, harvest leaves with our own hands and even visit a factory and learn the secrets of producing everyone’s favorite drink. At the end of the tour, the most fearless will be able to climb the 48–meter Ambuluvava Tower. This tower was erected in 2009 on the top of the mountain, on the territory of the biosphere reserve. Climbing it is not difficult, and at the top you will find endless 360–degree views of the island. The diversity of Sri Lanka does not end there, and you can choose other excursions to suit your taste. For fans of fauna, there is an opportunity to visit safaris in the Yala and Udawalawe National Parks. In each of these places you will be able to meet a large number of exotic animals, both reserves are interesting and unique in their own way, but in Yala you are more likely to see a leopard, and in Udavalava you are guaranteed to see elephants. Sri Lanka also has something to offer connoisseurs of ancient architecture – the coastal fort of Galle, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Currently, it is one of the most significant structures of the colonial era of Sri Lanka, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. While walking around the city, you can not only get acquainted with fortifications, but also get lost in medieval, European–like streets and learn their hidden secrets. The island has become the birthplace of many civilizations, and to get to know one of them, we suggest you go to the heart of Sri Lanka – ancient Sigiriya, the last capital of the kingdom of Kandy. Sigiriya is a 170–meter-high rock, and on its top there is a city with the remains of a royal palace. Climbing to the plateau of the cliff, you will see the palace gardens with pools and fountains, which have been functioning since the 12th century without electricity and are considered an engineering miracle.
There is a staircase leading to the top, which you can get to by passing through the paws of a lion – they are carved out of the rock and even today they amaze with their scale. The choice is yours – from which side the mysterious and exotic Sri Lanka will open for you.
